04-06-2020 Ride

Posted long after this ride.  This was during the Covid lockdown in Israel, so I'm not sure how I got out, perhaps with the ready excuse that I was riding to or from work.  Headed out Ben Zvi to the 44, staying on it until turning right onto the 4313 and following it across the 431 to the 423, to connect to the 4315 heading into Nes Ziona.  Over to the 412, heading north from there and then branching off at the 441 to ride back toward the coast.  Before getting there, I took surface streets through Bat Yam to get back to Yerushalaim and then through the neighborhood back home.

04-03-2020 Ride

I used the excuse of riding to work to get my sunglasses to get a bike ride in, took my authorization letter with me but nobody stopped me along the way.  Out Ben Zvi and the 44 all the way to the 40 to get some extra miles in.  I had to turn around after the first mile and go back home to pick up my backpack containing items in case I was stopped.  I could certainly tell that my fitness had taken a hit from not riding.  Still, it felt good to be out on the road.  When I got into work, there was nobody else in the building, only the front door was open.  So I got my sunglasses and got out of there.  Back toward home via the 412 to the 44, then retracing my route back home.  The section on the 412 appeared to give me a little bit of a push from a tailwind, the rest of the ride not so much.
