Got back to the Airbnb, and the others were up. I had some cereal for breakfast, then emi9drove us up to a very small farmer's market, where we walked around for a bit and I bought a cup of coffee. Then we waited for a while in line at a bakery, Sugar Beach, next door Emily had found that had malasadas and other baked goods. The malasadas were good but really dense. I had two, and that was enough. We drove back another way via the highway and ended up stopping at Ross to walk through and examine the merchandise. That was a funny little outing, there are some strange goods sold at Ross. Got some groceries at the Safeway next door, then Emily drove us back. We hung out for a while then went down to the beach for a swim. The wind had kicked up, and the surf was definitely bigger. Emily and Caleb were already out in the water when we got there, and I joined them beyond the break where it was a little calmer. Ann went back to get her swim shoes and took forever, returning with the boogie board as well. She tried it a couple of times, but the break was too close to the shore. Eventually she came out beyond the break as well. I ended up staying out there too long, got my face sunburned enough to notice it. We walked back to the Airbnb and showered. Emily said they were going to get some lunch, and I made the mistake of inviting us along, wasn't thinking it through. So that lunch wasn't so great, as she was bothered, rightfully so. She was quiet for most of the rest of the day and evening. I had a little nap and read quite a bit, watched some TV. No dinner needed after the late lunch.
