Ride after work with Blair, before heading to Houston the next day. I pushed the pace harder, particularly on the uphill sections, than I had consistently done when riding with him. As a result, we were faster but he was feeling it at the end. We started from the back parking lot and headed out Bernardo Center Dr and Carmel Valley Rd to Black Mountain Rd. On that climb up to Black Mountain Rd, I was pushing myself pretty hard. Down to the 56 bike trail, which we took to Carmel Valley Rd before heading back. From there we rode to Camino del Sur and then back to 4S Ranch the normal way, to the site using Via del Campo.
