06-05-2016 Ride & Hike

Time trial ride with John from my house,  meeting Jim at his house. My legs felt tired from Saturday's ride,  but my cardio felt good.  Overall,  I had a decent ride on a foggy morning. I couldn't keep up with John on those sections where he was riding flat-out,  so there is more conditioning for me needed.  Finished in 1:02:40.

Avg speed = 17.2 mph.  Total mileage = 17.9 mi
Avg heartrate = 137 bpm
Total elevation gain = 1060'

In the afternoon, Ann and I, and possibly others, went on a hike around the Calavera Nature Preserve down by Carlsbad.  I don't remember the details of it, since I posted this long afterwards.
