Solo ride over to Dave's house, using the route taking me behind the mall and feeling it in my lower back. Maybe too much riding recently. I met up with him and John, and Dave showed me his new Tesla. Nice. We rode his version of the time trial route, out to Deer Springs Rd and back. Near the turnaround point, I had a flat, but I got it changed pretty quickly. Not super fast on this ride, but Dave and John were pushing the pace on the flat sections, and I had to push to stay with John in particular. Finished the time trial portion in about 1:02. Above 10 mph on the last two climbs back home, taking the normal route.
Avg speed = 16 mph. Total mileage = 27.3 mi
Avg heartrate = 119 bpm
Total elevation gain = 1380'
