Solo ride over to Dave's house, taking a longer route. Across the freeway the normal way, then up BVP to Sunset Dr and right on Juniper St. Up to Valley Pkwy, where I turned left and then right onto Broadway, taking it to Mission Ave, where I turned left. To Centre City Pkwy, turning left and heading back to Dave's house the normal way. I met up with him, John, and Jim for the Escondido time trial route. Started out a little slow with the others, but I started picking up the pace past Escondido HS. Fairly fast on the little climb past Country Club Ln, then I seemed to have a good segment on the stretch up to Deer Springs Rd. From there, I was pushing it pretty good on most of the way back, not too hard on the flats but steady pace, aided by John, who was also riding fast on the flats. Finished the time trial segment in just over an hour, and I kept riding to try and get home in time to get ready for Wellspring practice. Home the normal way, keeping it above 10 mph on the last two little climbs.
