This was the day that Tropical Storm, downgraded from Hurricane, Hilary was supposed to come through San Diego County. I got out early for a longer walk, expecting (correctly, it turned out) to be homebound for the rest of the day. The rain was steady throughout the day, getting more intense in the afternoon and early evening. Never saw much wind or any evidence of nearby flooding. I took the opportunity in the afternoon and evening to repair a couple of inner tubes and replace the one on my back tire with the repaired one, which has a longer stem. Was a fairly boring day overall, it would be quite difficult to have to stay inside day after day.
