We broke camp at Duck Creek Campground and got on the road a little before 10:00. Not much to report on the drive to Deer Creek State Park. The drive up the canyon to get there was pretty. A couple of traffic stops on the way down the hill from the campsite. We stopped in Provo at a soda shop, I had a special mix soda and Ann had a cookie that was too sweet for her, so I ended up eating it. The campground we stayed at that evening was right by a large reservoir, and we were the only ones in the tent sites. All the rest were RV campers. The site was nice, although it was a little far to the restrooms. But they had showers, which was a plus. OK for an overnight stay, but no hiking to speak of.
