11-13-2023 Entry

Quiet morning, went for a long walk in late morning out through the nearby neighborhoods. Then in the early afternoon we went out to lunch with Mom for her 90th birthday. New York style pizza, it was pretty good. We stopped at the store on the way home and got some stuff for dinner. After we got back in the car, I had to pee, so I stopped at a Walgreens and ran in there. Back to the lake house for a quiet afternoon with some conversation and reading. Dinner was stuffed mushrooms, using a recipe based on a suggestion that Ross made. The three of us ate, then later had some of the lemon meringue pie that Ben had brought to the party. More conversation and reminiscences, most of them about her early marriage years and the time leading up to the wedding.
