Got up a little early and went for a walk through the Lake Shadows local neighborhood and the next one up Foley Rd, for about an hour. Back at the lake house, I talked to Mom for a while, had a shower, and got packed up to head to the airport for our flight back home, which connected through Dallas. Had to pay a $75 fee to check my bike, which was an unwelcome surprise. Next time, when they ask me what's in the bag, I'll tell them it's equipment for a training presentation.
