Up at 3:45 to get to the airport for a 6:30 flight. I had packed my bike, and the baggage check went smoothly. Flight to Las Vegas and a quick change to the flight into IAH. All went fine, although it seemed like we were delayed landing in Houston. I picked up my bike and we got the rental car from Alamo, no waiting and very good service. It was a Chevy Blazer, pretty nice although the cargo area was smaller than expected. We didn't have too much traffic on the way over to Kathy's house, just by the I-45 interchange. Got there okay and had a quiet afternoon. I put my bike together in the twilight, and it went without any difficulties. After dinner, I went for a walk in the neighborhood, about 2 miles.
