Woke up, it was a little chilly but lighter earlier, so I went for a run, following the old neighborhood route at a modest pace. Felt fine, not too cold although my hands were chilled. Finished stronger than I started, legs and cardio felt fine.

After I got home, I ate a little bit of breakfast, then got ready to head 0ver to the WWC for a swim. Was a little busy at the opening, but I got a lane and swam 2000 yds in under 40 minutes, keeping my stroke more efficient throughout. No aids in the swim for the first time, it felt decent. When I got home, it was time again for chores. I tried to reset my Indy earbuds but can only get sound from the right side. Then I wrote a note to Linda and later wrote a birthday card to Mom, including the photo of us with Kaye. I also read up on the propositions to inform my voting decisions. Cleaned up the kitchen and then tightened the faucet. Later, we drove over to El Plantio and got some seeds and plantings for the garden. When we got back home, she planted the plants and I cleared the weeds out of the path that had grown from the leaking sprinkler line. Cleared out the pea gravel and the dirt around the turn in the path, then I cleaned the gravel before putting it back in. Last chore I had on my list was to put air in the scooter tires. We talked to Laura after dinner and caught each other up on our travels as well as reviewed plans for the holidays.
