When I woke up, it was wet outside, so I decided to pause on starting a ride. I had some breakfast and coffee, and eventually I got out on the bike, heading through the neighborhood to Matinal Rd and then to W Bernardo Dr. Up to RB Rd and over to Bernardo Center Dr. I turned right and then left onto Lomica Dr. Through that neighborhood to get to Avenida Valencia, continuing straight up to Del Norte, where I turned right. Up to Stone Canyon Rd, which I used to get to Pomerado Rd. I turned left and rode up to Twin Peaks Rd, turned left, and took it to Community Rd. Then it was up to Metate Ln, turning there to get back to Pomerado Rd. From there, I rode back home via the RB Rd and Bernardo Center Dr route. I thought a little bit about lengthening the ride but decided not to. My pace on this ride was casual.

Chilled out when I got home, reorganized the dishes and glasses in the cabinets. Later, while the sun wasn't too fierce, I put a second coat of paint on the exterior trim of the side garage door. Looks decent now. I did some weeding in the path in the back yard after that, and that was my list of chores for the day. Talked to Ben for about an hour during the day and ripped some CDs as well. In the evening I watched some football.
