03-27-2026 Swim

Slept off and on, didn't get up in the night but woke up several times. Actually got up a little after 6:00, cleaned the kitchen dishes and had a couple of biscuits for breakfast before getting ready for a swim at the WWC. I found out my waterproof conduction headphones won't access the music files stored on them, and they disconnect from bluetooth when underwater. So, not useful anymore. Dang it! I did a similar workout to the one on 2-2-26, just a little bit consistently slower. My last 250 seemed ragged for my swim stroke, so more work needed there.

Had oatmeal for a second breakfast, I was hungry. Later in the morning I went out back, laid down a second layer of ground cloth (plastic this time), then spread the bark back over it. Had some lunch, took a shower. Ann and I were supposed to meet a lady (and her husband) that she knows from the gym, but that got postponed to Monday. I read for a while, then headed to Aldi to get some snacks and cereal. Watched some TV in the later afternoon, then changed the rear brake pads on my Canyon. I also looked at the front pads, they seem to have a little more life left in them, but they're getting close to needing replacement. Evening was quiet, I read for a while and ended up falling asleep early.
