Slept pretty well, the previous day was a busy one for me (<!>). I got ready for a swim at the WWC and rode over, in misty conditions again, on my scooter. There was an additional brave soul swimming at the start. I swam 1600 yds in less than 30 minutes, had my camera set up to track my laps but the camera fell over early on, so my time and distance are an estimate. Ann had made cinnamon rolls for breakfast, so I had some, along with coffee, when I got home. I wasn't too active during the rest of the morning, did some computer stuff and went to Aldi to get some cereal and snacks for the upcoming plane trip. Ann went to play Mah-Jongg in the afternoon, so I set myself up for a shorter ride on the indoor trainer. I picked a very flat route around Bruge and did a little less than 2 laps before turning off. The turnoff led me to a climb, but I wasn't in the mood, so I shut it down there. For some reason, my heartrate monitor didn't register on MyWhoosh when I set it up. Will need to add that to my indoor trainer checklist for next time.
Avg speed = 21.0 mph. Total mileage = 12.9 mi
Avg power = 195 W. Weighted avg power = 200 W
Total elevation gain = 20'
Training Load = 50
Intensity = 91%
As soon as I finished, I realized that I hadn't set my watch up to count the pedal strokes as steps, so that meant going out for a walk in the rain. Thankfully, it wasn't raining hard, just a slow, persistent drizzle. I walked through the neighborhood for about 50 minutes, got a little wet but not soaked. Ann was home when I got back, did a little more computer coding (cleaning up the code for the most part) and watched some basketball before and after dinner. Rest of the evening was quiet.
