Went for a swim in the morning at the WWC, 2000 yds using the normal protocol in 41 minutes. There were times when I felt like I was in rhythm even without the swim snorkel. Ann and I went in the morning over to the Escondido Center for the Performing Arts to see a sand drawing being created by some monks from Tibet. It was quite intricate, and I found it pleasant to sit there and watch the monk work patiently on the details of the drawing. On the following day, it was scheduled to be complete, at which time, they brushed it off and went on their way! We went to Home Depot and got a Christmas tree and some minor household items (wall plates for lights, some peg board posts). Then it was a quiet day as I worked on my old bike to get it ready for Chris Ye to ride on Saturday morning. Also had a front tire flat on my new bike that I patched and repaired. Ann and I went for a longer walk in the late afternoon, it was a nice pace. Maybe we can do that more often together.
