Went for a longer walk over to the WWC for my morning swim, where I swam 3000 yds in about 1:04. 20 lengths without swim snorkel with and without swim pads, then 30 lengths of same with swim snorkel. Finished it off with 10 lengths each without swim snorkel but with and then without swim pads. Shoulders were feeling it later in the day, but it was also kinda exhilarating. Then I walked home from there. Later, we went down to Mission Valley, got the Chevron document for my pension lump sum payment notarized, then went to see a very interesting Nicolas Cage movie, Dream Scenario, about a guy who starts showing up in people's dreams, first in a benign way then more actively, and finally, in threatening ways. It was chilling at times and ultimately sad in how his life was upended by these events that were completely out of his control. I went into the movie knowing nothing about it, and it was a rewarding experience. Also, I'm almost done with Project Hail Mary, by Andy Weir. It's been a page-turner even the second time around, and I remember much of the general storyline as I'm reading it, but am still enjoying reliving the details and the plot.
