Slow, easy time trial route ride with Jim. First time riding with him in a while. Liz and Krista are back in SD, staying at a family friend's house until the Garrett family house remodeling is finished, about two weeks estimated. He showed me the mods to the master bedroom after the ride and after we had pumpkin pie smoothies. They are really having a lot to deal with, huge emotions and psychological toll from the accident.

In the afternoon I went for a walk, heading through the gap under the freeway overpass to the east of W Bernardo Dr. I also walked to the top of a trail off the road, no obvious continuation of the trail after it got to the top of a hill. Walked for a little more than an hour all told.
