Woke up pretty late for me and got ready for a run. I headed over to the new subdivision to the north of Foley Rd, ran around a couple of streets there, then jogged back. I had hoped to get in 5 miles but came up a little short. It really reminded me just how humid it is in Houston, I was drenched when I got back.

Was still sweating even after my shower. Had some breakfast, and a little later in the morning Mark and Ben came over. The four of us talked about Mom's living situation, and I think we clarified for her what her current options are. She is still capable of making her own decisions here, and I will be surprised if she is fed up enough with Ross's lack of support to make any significant changes. Still, it was a good conversation, and now she knows well how the three of us are feeling and how we will support her. After they left, I took some time to put my bike together, it seemed to go smoothly. In the afternoon, Mom and I took Lillie to the vet in Atascocita, and got a check-up. All good there, which made Mom happy. We went to Walmart later in the afternoon to get some stuff for dinner (stir fry), and she did well there. She had a little nap right at dinner time, so I went ahead and ate. She then came out, and we talked while she had a pretty good amount of food for dinner. It was a quiet evening for me after that, talked to Ann and filled her in on some of the news about Mom and Hannah.
