Got up and went for a walk, after a decent night's rest. The worst of my COVID reaction is behind me, I'm pretty sure. Now it just feels like recovering from a mild cold: some congestion (not much), an occasional cough, and infrequent sneezing. After the walk, I headed over to the WWC for an easy swim with Avi, keeping my distance from him and others by swimming in the farthest lane. I went for 1000 yds at an easy pace, the first 500 without devices and the second 500 with a snorkel and the pull buoy. The rest of the day was spent around the house. I did some minor cleanup on the code for working with the database of ride stats that I created, including showing an average power curve when displaying a power curve for a specific ride. I also spent some time going back to the issue of displaying Strava segments. By the way, a cool website containing very useful information about these segments (including starting and ending latitude and longitude) is veloviewer.com. I was able to make progress on matching my existing, abbreviated list of Strava segments to a particular route, but the matching routine is super slow, too slow to be practical for a large number of searchable segments, even if the routine were run in the background in a batch file. There are also definite bugs in the search routine that would need to be fixed.
