Woke up after a little better sleep, went for a 1+ hour long walk around the neighborhood. I had a shower when I got back, then got ready for the meeting with Mom. All the brothers were there, thankfully. Ann went out while we had the discussion. Mom was weepy at the beginning, but we helped her through it, then used a combination of seriousness, directness, and wit to get to a new path forward. Now we'll see if we can make it happen. The discussion went a little less than 2 hours. Ann and I had some lunch afterwards, chatted with Mom some more before heading over to Kathy's house in the afternoon. We chatted with her and Heather, had dinner, then talked some more. It was a quiet evening.
