Woke up and had a leisurely time getting ready to go over to the WWC for a swim. It wasn't as windy as the previous day, and it was a little cooler. I had the pool to myself for roughly the first third of my swim, and it was never crowded. Swam 1500 yds, with the following splits:
500 9:07
50 0:54
100 1:40
100 1:42
100 1:41
100 1:43
100 1:44
500 9:14
I rested between these intervals as well. Could definitely feel my arms getting tired in the last couple of 100s, and my form was poor in the second 500, where I used my push buoy and struggled to keep a 20-stroke pace. On the earlier intervals, it was easier. Next time I try similar intervals, I'll try swimming 200s instead. That should be a challenge. I rode home and had something to eat, then worked some more on computer file cleanup and elimination of duplicates. I can start to see the finish line here. Next step will be to include more organization in the file folders, particularly the photos and my own files. In mid-afternoon, I went for an extended walk, an hour and ten minutes, to get my steps in, since I hadn't been moving around the house very much. Ann played Mah-Jongg in the afternoon. The rest of the day was a quiet one, nothing much else to report.
