06-01-2025 Ride

Left pretty early, a little before 6:00, for my bike ride, initially following the original time trial route. Legs were a little tired from the previous day's ride, so I dialed back the effort level somewhat. Up past the high school and then down the hill to Twin Peaks Rd, turning right there and riding to Midland Rd, where I turned left. By Old Poway Park and thus to Poway Rd, where I followed the new time trial route until after the turn onto Sabre Springs Pkwy. On a whim, I turned left at Evening Creek Dr and took this little spur until I got back to Sabre Springs Pkwy. Stayed on the new time trial route through the turn onto Camino del Norte, where I kept going until turning right onto Camino San Bernardo. From there, I followed my usual way home via W Bernardo Dr. I would classify this ride as low- to moderate-intensity.

Avg speed = 15.2 mph (15.3 mph). Total mileage = 22.5 mi
Avg power = 122 W. Weighted avg power = 148 W
Total elevation gain = 1220' (1350')
Avg heartrate = 103 bpm (Coospo)
Relative Effort = 14 (15)
Training Load = 69
Intensity = 67%

I'm writing this post several days after, so I don't have much detail on what I did on Sunday. I know I worked on the pea gravel path in the front yard for a while. I also talked with Ross, before dinner, and Mark, after dinner, both of them about the current situation with Mom and her decision not to have home care on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Other than that it appears to have been a fairly quiet day.
