First time in a while without a significant exercise workout. Got up and had a leisurely transition to the day. Before it got too hot, I went out in the backyard and climbed the fence to cut back the pepper tree branches that had sprouted from its root system. That tree and its roots are a blight and would be quite difficult to eradicate without expense and removing a section of the fence to dig out the main stump. But I got it done and all the branches put in the bins, along with the palm leaves and sumac branches from last week's pruning. Then I had an easy late morning and early afternoon. Ann and I went for ice cream at Cold Stone in Poway, there was an annoying lady in the shop who was being rude to her companion as well as the servers. Not nice. After the ice cream, we went shopping at Aldi before heading home. After an early dinner, we went to CMR for a concert in front of the book store. It was Republic of Music, a hits cover band that was decent enough, not very tight in its sound but certainly energetic. Near the end of the concert we saw Ray, Anna, and their daughter walking back from getting ice cream. When I got home, I still needed a few steps, so I went out for an evening walk of a little over a mile.
