Well, this was a slow ride day. It started out okay but I didn't have any energy for the second half, which was generally uphill. Through the neighborhood, then through the short route of the 4S Ranch neighborhood to get to Camino del Sur. Down to San Dieguito Rd, turning right there and taking it to El Camino Real. I did fine on the flats there. Over to Via de la Valle, then I rode over to the coast. There were a bunch of MS charity riders on PCH, heading south, the same direction I headed. Up through Del Mar and over to Carmel Valley Rd, where I stopped for a short break to enjoy the sounds of the surf and eat a banana. This is where I slowed down. I rode over to the 56 bike path and took it up to Carmel Valley Rd, then took this road back to Camino del Sur and turned left. I was slowing down even more from here, rode up to Paseo del Sur and started looking for ways to add mileage to get above 40 mi (I was really ready to be done). Left on Haaland Glen, then right on Paseo Montenero. I then took Kristen Glen back to Paseo del Sur and followed it until turning right onto Potomac Ridge Rd, then right again on Nicole Ridge Rd. This got me to Camino San Bernardo, and I turned here and plodded along on this generally climbing road all the way back to RB Rd. Up to Via del Campo, turning right there and riding back toward HP, with another right turn on W Bernardo Dr. Took a left on Bernardo Center Dr and rode down through the village before heading home via Duenda Rd. Was really glad to be done with this ride, just no energy on the day.

The rest of the day was fairly easy. I replaced the garage light bulb so that both sides illuminate with the same intensity, then I replaced the batteries in my rear bike light. Ordered and sent a digital Target gift card to Rebecca and Amber to celebrate Wesley's birth. I wet mopped and vacuumed the hard floors downstairs except for the entryway, which I'll do after the roofers finish their work on Monday. And I fixed a number of drip sprinkler leaks and faults in the bed near the back side of the house. Am guessing that they were damaged when the house was tented. Oh, and I started the process of cleaning up my Google Photos folder to free up space, while creating a separate photo space on the microSD card on my phone. Just before dinner, I changed the air filter on the car. It was a quiet evening, watching some football.
