Woke up after getting up a couple of times in the night (<>) and watching an episode of Andor. Still, I slept okay for first night with jet lag, although I woke up feeling a little groggy. Had some breakfast, then got ready for my first swim in a while. It was a little chilly on the ride over to the WWC but not raining. Swam for 1550 yds, with my first 500 feeling okay but the last 1050 being pretty ragged, getting worse in technique as I swam. Here are my splits for the swim: 9:16, 9:39, 9:48, 1:00. Next swim will include some interval training, still focusing on shorter distances until I start feeling more consistent in my stroke, which was around 20 until near the end. I had a quiet rest of the morning at home, worked on backing up and starting to clean up my vacation photos and videos. Had gotten a couple of indoor videocams from Temu while I was gone, so I worked on figuring out how to set one up as an in-home security camera. It took a while, but I was successful in having it serve as a monitor for watching our front door. I had a longer nap in the early afternoon, still jet-lagged. Then in mid-afternoon, I went into the garage and set everything up for a virtual ride using MyWhoosh. Route was generally flat with just one notable climb. It felt good to be pedaling, but I wish I could have gone outside, where the rainy weather was persistent throughout the day and evening.

After dinner, I still needed to get some steps in, so I walked around the block and a little bit more. Then I watched some TV before going to bed. Ann was coughing quite a bit, so I slept in the office so as not to be disturbed.
