03-25-2025 Walk

Woke up feeling a little better, suggesting that this wasn't going to be a bad cold. I had another long walk in the pre-dawn morning, felt okay during the walk. When I got back, I met Vita, the other home healthcare aide. She is also very nice, professional, and caring. I talked with Mom about her plans moving forward, and it seems that she is at least considering future plans to move into an assisted care facility. It was a restful morning in general, I packed up and made some food for the flight. Stopped to get some Mexican food on the way to the airport, was a little rushed but made it in enough time. I caught the shuttle from the rental car center (Budget car rental went smoothly) to the International terminal, then ate my bean soft tacos in the terminal building before going through security. No issues getting to the gate, and the plane left on time, less than 1/3 full, I'm guessing. I had a little nap, listened to some music, then watched a couple of episodes of Ozark, which got me close to touch-down. Ann picked me up from the airport, and we had dinner and drinks at a restaurant in Little Italy that wasn't so great. Drive home didn't have much traffic, and I had a quiet evening, sleeping in the office to reduce the risk of passing my cold on to Ann.
