10-27-2025 Swim

Slept fairly well, although I did get up in the night and eat some cereal and read before getting back to sleep. Ann slept in late for her birthday, and I hung around in the morning until she went for a spa day with Kay. Then I got ready for a swim at the WWC, headed over there and couldn't find my card, so I had to ride back home and look for it before returning. Pool was busy when I got there but I found a lane to myself. Did four 500s, the last one using the pull buoy and my swim pads, which helps my speed and stroke count. Total swimming time of 38:55, here are the times for the four 500s: 9:37, 10:11 (had to adjust my goggles several times), 9:50, 9:17. I wasn't trying super hard in this workout, so I was pleasantly surprised with the time, particularly the first 500.

Had a relaxed middle part of the day while Ann was out. Watched some TV, read, had a nap. In the late afternoon I made a frittata for dinner, it turned out decently. I cleaned the kitchen as I cooked, which is so much better than piling up a lot of dirty dishes. Baked some cookies for dessert, this batch was more evenly baked. Went to bed early, not sure why I was so tired.
