Got home and cooled off for a bit, then cleaned the kitchen. I then got ready for a swim and headed over to the WWC, where I met Avi. There were a lot of people planning to swim when the club opened, Avi and I ended up sharing lane 4 and getting some forgiveness from Shannon in lane 5 to swim near there. Was an easy-paced swim for me, two 500s with a short rest in between. Here are the splits: 9:26, 9:27. My form wasn't great, but it was a little better than on Monday. I need to pay more attention to how my hands enter the water, should be fingers first but it isn't always.

Got home and ate cereal for breakfast, had some coffee later before heading to Von's (got gas on the way for my scooter) for cat food. Afternoon was quiet, not much going on. Ann played mah jongg and I hung around the house. Looked a little bit at my cycling analysis program but didn't do much to it, no real enhancements. I worked some more on creating an event log for 2023, which is an interesting little exercise of going back in time. After dinner we drove up to the TERI campus and saw a show at the Bornemann theater. It was the Music by Eras group, and we debated whether to call this a concert. To me, it was more a ticketed music show. In fact, it was their first ticketed event, they mainly do corporate and free shows. The production was a little sketchy, music and vocals weren't mixed quite right, and the audio and visual accompaniment had a couple of hiccups. One of the singers was a last-minute replacement, but she did a good job. The show was still a little campy, but this was okay, as long as you know what you're getting. The crowd was really into it, and the venue was pretty nice. Jesse Ray Smith is the lead male vocalist for this ensemble, and he has a good voice with some kinda weird stage antics while singing. He does a good version of Bob Seger songs, I think that's his strongest cover. One of the female singers was Whitney Shay, who looked familiar from some previous concert. The show was enjoyable, some of the covers didn't quite click, but more often than not they worked. It was over by 9:30, and we were home before 10:00, which was a plus.
