Had a good night's rest after a long, busy previous day. <> Then I went for a run down by the park, taking the loop three times but pausing my Strava and not restarting it for most of one loop. So the details below are an estimate, Fitbit was started at the bottom of Aguamiel Rd. Will have to try a run with my Coospo if I can figure out how to sync it with Strava.
Avg pace = 9:10/mi
Total distance = 4.14 mi
Avg heartrate = 161 bpm
When I got home, I had some food. Later in the morning, I worked in the backyard clearing some of the last weeds out of the bed I'm working on. I had lunch afterwards, and it was a relatively quiet afternoon, watched some TV. In the late afternoon, I rode over to meet Blair for a ride. Through the neighborhood to RB Rd, then over to Via del Campo. I circled around the back parking lot, saw a Cybertruck by the Apple building, and met Blair behind B65. We headed out Bernardo Center Dr to Camino del Norte, turning right there. It was sunny and breezy on this day, and we rode out Camino del Sur to the 56 bike path. I kept my pace down except for the two little climbs, where I rode more slowly than usual but got ahead of him. We rode east on the bike path up past Black Mountain Rd and took the next exit off the path to go over the overpass on Salmon River Rd to Paseo Montalban. Took this road back to Black Mountain Rd and then over to Carmel Valley Rd. I matched Blair's pace up the climb to the turn, then got out ahead after the turn. We headed down the hill and the climbed back to Bernardo Center Dr and to our meet-up point. Home the normal way from there, got back before 6:00.
Avg speed =14.6 mph. Total mileage = 23.1 mi
Avg power = 127 W. Weighted avg power = 160 W
Total elevation gain = 1640'
Avg heart rate = 115 bpm (Coospo), 120 bpm (Fitbit)
In the evening, after a light dinner, I packed my backpack for the trip to see Laura, then I watched a little more TV before going to sleep.
